I have arrived! Finally!
After two days full of driving, I made my way from the only home I have ever known in Augusta, Georgia to Baylor University in East Texas. After so many hours in a car, I was more than ready to settle down in any place and I can't wait to share my dorm room with you, where I'll be living as I start this next chapter of my life. It was important that not only I transform this small concrete room into a place not only cute and comfortable, but also that it felt like home and reflected my personality.

If you don't know that I love Lilly Pulitzer, then you don't know me at all! Of course some of the bright prints had to make their way into my dorm room! Also, my favorite animal, flamingos, made their debut in fun-printed sheets! A yellow rug with pineapples covers the floor, tying in fun patterns and color from top to bottom!
Small elements such as a framed picture of a Georgia silhouette, a Masters flag, and a bulletin board featuring mementos from my home state, like a Varsity hat all remind me of where I come from and my roots.
Here's to my first post from a thousand miles away from where I initially began! I can't wait to start making this my new home!
